Alpha 6 was a very intense start and you guys helped a lot identifying issues that we need to improve. Big thank you from us! You are a very lovely community. Now we want to present you a new version, which is a small patch for Alpha 6. Here is the changelog

Fixes

  • Removed strength modifier from starter sword
  • Rare ore drops are now actually rare (Whetstone)
  • Moved tent in bandit camp to avoid players getting stuck
  • Fixed terrain glitch at river north side
  • Music is looping now
  • Fixed broken tier list when spamming space on blueprint selection
  • Cloak spell now has an effect when increasing mastery level (duration of effect)
  • Incoming healing no longer breaks cloak invisibility
  • Karma has a menu icon now
  • Karma gain on level up is working now
  • Fixed incorrect player titles and icons in chat
  • Fixed backside of player hair clipping in UI
  • Iron armor graphics are now correct and match their level requirements
  • Frost Horn now provides meaningful experience points
  • Reduced amount of false-positive ‘Intention Quantization Failed' disconnects
  • Guild creation should work now

Changes

  • Slightly decreased melee weapon range and radius
  • Blueprint and profession levels now start at 1 instead of 0
  • Increased Spear’s physical resistance modifier from 1% to 5%
  • New players no longer start with the Hardened Leather Legs armor blueprint
  • Bandits now have a more fanatic look to reflect their disloyalty to the empire
  • Cloak cooldown increased from 60 seconds to 120 seconds
  • Loot pickup on Interaction button is now prioritized (even when players are around)
  • Increased movement speed impairment while swinging
  • New whisper chats now show in both the normal chat and the specific whisper tab
  • Dedicated whisper chats no longer get flooded with system messages
  • UI scaling works more predictably
  • Frost Horn uses Frost Nova from a greater distance
  • Increased “cost per tier” curve for crafting
  • Chance to increase profession points decreases as skill level increases
  • Using the anvil now requires learning the Crafting profession
  • Most crafting recipes are now a bit more expensive
  • Karma effects now occur at the end of a 20 interval (e.g. first effect at -20 instead of -1)

Additions

  • Crafting has a chance to increase crafting profession points
  • Bald “hair” as new hair style
  • Right click on Desktop on a chat tab is opening the tabs settings now
  • Spell names in system messages are now clickable for a spell tooltip (e.g. when learning)
  • Scroll of Forgetting that can reset your character attributes when used
  • Crafting profession points now have an impact on crafting chance
  • Blueprint tech level now has an impact on material and gold costs
