Exciting Updates Coming to Our 2D MMORPG!

We're thrilled to share the upcoming developments in our 2D MMORPG. Over the next few updates, we'll be introducing new mechanics, improving gameplay balance, and expanding the game world. Here’s what’s coming in the next four major patches!
Pre-Alpha 7 – Foundation Improvements
Before diving into major content, we're refining the core systems of the game:
- Gold Economy Adjustments – Higher scrap values and reduced shop costs.
- Spawn System Overhaul – Improved spawn rates, smarter enemy placement, and better group balancing.
- Crafting System Enhancements – More reliable crafting outcomes, especially at higher levels.
- Mobile Optimizations – We will improve the experience even more and make the burger menu accessible.
- Easter Event – Get ready for an exciting event focused on searching for Easter eggs and earning juicy rewards!
Alpha 7 – Major Gameplay Enhancements
This update brings critical improvements and new features:
- Early Access Release on Steam – With this update, we will officially launch the game into Early Access on Steam, allowing more players to join and shape the game’s development.
- New Large Map Expansion: The Plateaus – A vast new region as big as Greenwood, where the temperature drops the further you explore. Expect higher-level enemies, new NPCs, and unique environmental challenges.
- Big Game Math Overhaul – Armor becomes very meaningful, and we will introduce many new stats that make armor and weapon choices more interesting.
- New Area: High Ruins – An adventurous region north of the bridge.
- Expanded Greenwood – The Greenwood area will be expanded to provide a deeper story arc for quests, new players, and balancing.
- NPC Sounds – Improved audio feedback for NPC interactions.
- Potion System Overhaul – A secondary potion slot that can be earned by the player. Cooldowns will be adjusted, and potions will be balanced overall. Additionally, food items will be introduced as an alternative way to restore health.
- New Spell: Terror Scream – A powerful AoE instant spell that cancels casting and applies a silence debuff to affected enemies.
- More Cosmetics and Pets – Additional headgear, pets, skins, and other customization options.
- Quest System – We are planning on initially adding ~10 quests.
- Soft Class System – We will explain that in detail later.
- Raising the level cap to 40.
Alpha 8 – Expanding the World and UI Improvements
- Local Player Shops – Players will be able to set up shops and sell items to other players even when offline.
- Quest Board Implementation – A system where players can open up commissions for other players to fulfill.
- World Map Overview – A new world map will be introduced, offering a broad overview without too much detail to encourage exploration.
- UI Visual Refresh – A cleaner and more streamlined interface.
- New Ice Dungeon – A massive dungeon featuring a challenging boss with complex mechanics and big rewards.
- Even more quests and the first story arc.
- Raising the level cap to 45.
Alpha 9 – PvP and Competitive Play
- Deeper PvP Mechanics – A revamped PvP system introducing new rewards, ranking leaderboards, and a more structured competitive experience.
- Another Whole New Region – A brand-new biome with challenging enemies, quests, and rare drops.
- More Competitive Features – Additional balancing for high-level play.
- Raising the level cap to 50.

We are planning on release the Pre-Alpha 7 patch before the Easter holidays. We want to start with the firsts tests (on our internal Stage server) in about 2 months and we are planning to already release Alpha 7 in 3 months.
